The 18th Annual Under the Oaks Art Festival is a two day outdoor juried art show with a variety of Fine and Wildlife artists on the sweeping waterfront grounds of Historic Corolla Park at Whalehead, NC on Tuesday & Wednesday, June 18th & 19th from 10 am – 5 pm.
One hundred year old Live Oaks, open green lawns and casual breezes from the Currituck Sound make for a perfect location.
This festival features the unique talents of over 50 quality artists with a wide array of creations in painting, pottery, jewelry, mixed media, photography, woodwork, glass, metal, fiber art plus local food concessions, and a silent art auction that benefits Whalehead.
Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, Whalehead was the 1920s residence of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Collings Knight, Jr., a 21,000-square-foot “mansion by the sea”. Admission is free to the event!
On Wednesday, June 19th, the event will feature a local wine and beer festival with live music from The Acoustic Legend, Chris Perkinson.
Start: June 18
End: June 19
