I’ll be honest, I have no idea what makes a drink a “Slammer”. They come in all different forms from tequila to bourbon to gin, some have juice, some have soda, most of them have amaretto, but not all. If there is some quintessential connection, I can’t see it and Google didn’t have an answer either. But for alliteration’s sake, let me introduce the Super Bowl Slammer! It’s an easy to make cocktail with only a few ingredients so you can make them quickly during commercial (or football) breaks. It’s also not super heavy or too sugary, so it won’t be competing with the rest of your game day foods. Bonus, if you feel like decorating some mason jars you’ve got an extra party decoration!
