In the mood for some spooky holiday festivities? Then join in the fun for the Spook or Treat: Hay Ride and Fall Festival!

Fall visitors and locals alike will have a ball discovering all the fun and seasonal things to do at Southport’s annual Spook or Treat. This celebration that is free to the public features plenty of ways to celebrate the Halloween holiday, including lots of games, treats, hayrides, and fun for folks of all ages.
Spook or Treat is held in the heart of Southport, at the Southport Parks and Recreation Building, and no admission or tickets are required to attend this event that is geared towards the youngest family members, but which is miles of fun for people of all ages.
Though the roster of activities can change from year to year, newcomers can expect to enjoy plenty of carnival games, hayrides through the neighborhood, and a few thrills along the way.
Kids (and even adults) are encouraged to come in their best Halloween costume, and true to the holiday, there will also be treats of all varieties to go around for folks who have a sweet tooth.
Held right before Halloween, the event is a great way to meet and mingle with members of the community, while enjoying all the candy, food and fun that Halloween is known for.
On Saturday, October 19th from 5 pm to 7 pm, enjoy fall festivities, a hayride, crafts, treats, and a haunted gym this Halloween! Join Southport Parks & Recreation for some spooky fun, crafts, treats, and don’t forget our hayride.
There will also be a Costume Contest held at 6 p.m.
