well then gIve this recipe a try. It is a new twist on the fried oyster!
Recipe: Oven Fried Oysters
Servings 4
Ingredients
- ½ cup Butter, melted
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 Dash Worcestershire sauce
- 1 pint Oysters, drained
- 1 Dash Hot sauce
- 1 cup Bread crumbs
Instructions
- Mix butter and seasonings.
- Dip oysters in mixture; then roll in crumbs.
- Place close together in 10×7-inch pan.
- Pour any remaining butter sauce over oysters.
- Refrigerate 3-4 hours or overnight. Refrigeration is important.
- Bake in preheated 350 degree F. oven for 20 minutes or until crumbs are golden brown and oysters begin to juice.
