World-class artists will travel to the Manteo waterfront August 14-15, 2019 for the 38th Annual New World Festival of the Arts. The free, outdoor show will feature art from exhibitors including watercolors, oil & acrylic, drawings, photography, jewelry, sculpture, and pottery.
New World Festival of the Arts has been a Manteo tradition for decades, providing awareness of current trends in the visual arts while acquainting visitors with the historic Town of Manteo.
The New World Festival of the Arts brings an average of 5,000-6,000 attendees to the area each year.
The 2019 New World Festival of the Arts is an annual juried outdoor festival featuring fine art and fine craft.
Hosted by Dare County Arts Council and the Town of Manteo, the Festival provides local and regional artists an opportunity to display and sell their creative work.

Originally started 1981 by Manteo business owner Edwards Greene, New World Festival of the Arts acquaints visitors and locals alike with the town of Manteo bringing an average of 5,000 to 6,000 attendees to the area each each year.
New World Festival of the Arts is now in its 38th year of presenting a show of the region’s finest artists in an outdoor, festival atmosphere.
The festival was started by Manteo business owner Edward Greene, and is sponsored by the Town of Manteo, funded by a grant from the North Carolina Arts Council and is presented by PNC Bank.
