Mason jars have a very rustic southern charm to them. They’ve popped up in decorating, weddings, and so much more over the past few years. We’ve got another use for them now, unique one-of-a-kind snow globes! Get a little crafty this Christmas and make some holiday presents your friends and family will love.
Here’s everything you will need!
- Mason jars or any glass jar with a lid
- Epoxy glue, that dries clear and is waterproof
- Small Trees, Reindeer, or Presents to put in your jar
Start by washing and drying your jars. Paint your lid with spray paint if desired and allow to dry. Attach any decorations (a small Christmas, a reindeer, etc.) to the lid with the epoxy glue. Allow glue to dry overnight.
When the glue is completely dry, fill up your jar near to the top with water. Add 1-2 Tablespoons of Glycerin to the jar depending on size. Add your glitter to the mixture too.
Place a line of epoxy glue around the lid and screw it onto the jar tightly, keeping it upright. Allow to dry upright for an hour. Once dry, turn it over and shake for a unique snow globe!
