The Town of Duck brings jazz to the Duck Town Park with a Concert on the Green style event, Saturday, October 12, 2019 from 4 – 6 p.m. Then return to the park on Sunday, October 13, 2019, to enjoy a full day of music during this free, non-ticketed festival showcasing national, regional and local jazz musicians on two stages.
Food and drinks are available to purchase from town eateries and chairs are available for rent. Attendees may also bring food, coolers, chairs, blankets and well-behaved dogs. No beach umbrellas or tents are permitted at the event.
The Duck Jazz Festival is held rain or shine. Each year it is hoped that visitors will extend their Outer Banks stay to enjoy jazz-themed events and promotions taking place throughout Duck businesses and beyond. We hope to see you there!

Mobile since her birth in Singapore, composer and saxophonist Caroline Davis lives in Brooklyn, New York. Her debut album, Live Work & Play, was featured on All About Jazz’s best releases, and she was named one of JazzTimes’ Best New Artists in 2012.
Andrew Sanchez & His Hip Six
As an educator and composer of music, Sanchez bridges the gap of American jazz and Western classical music in his compositions to appeal to wider audiences and to educate the idea of “music is just music” to strictly single-genre artists.

Triangle Youth Jazz Ensemble
The Triangle Youth Jazz Ensemble is one of the groups sponsored by the non-profit Philharmonic Association, Inc. whose mission is to provide an opportunity for young musicians to learn, understand, and perform all genres of great classical and jazz music
First Flight High School Honors Jazz Band is made up of approximately 20 student performers. FFHS Jazz Band is directed by Bob Ebert.
