Our Saturday market will feature Wilmington’s finest local producers and artisans selling their goods directly to consumers, while also educating on local farming and local art. Our goal: to encourage and promote the use of locally-grown farm products and artisan offerings and enhance the quality of life in Wilmington by providing a community activity that fosters safe social gatherings and interactions.
The Downtown Wilmington Farmers Market was developed as a means to feature local producers and artisans selling their goods directly to consumers, while also educating on local farming and local art. Our farmers market was also brought to life with the intention of creating an environment where the vendors were the focus and the goal was to put money into the pockets of local, small businesses. We have achieved this by having less expensive monthly and annual vendor fees, consistent social media-based marketing, and more.
We also heavily believe in the importance of giving back – which is why 10% of each month’s revenue is donated to a charitable organization. An additional 10% is donated to Temple Baptist Church’s ‘Helping Hands’ Ministry.
The Downtown Wilmington Market is a place for local growers, producers, artisans, and crafters to sell their goods directly to consumers! Join us on Saturday anytime from 9 AM – 2 PM at Temple Baptist Church in Wilmington to find that perfect gift – all while supporting local!
Weekly Saturday market beginning April 3rd, 2021. 9 AM – 2 PM.
