Come see the works of fifteen of the Outer Banks finest photographers on display at Glen Eure’s Ghost Fleet Gallery in Nags Head from Oct. 2nd through Oct. 27th. Their images focus on landscapes and the natural environment.
Outer Banks Restaurant Week gives local food enthusiasts and visitors an opportunity to enjoy 3-course lunch or dinner menus at participating restaurants at a fixed price of either $20 or $35. What a value! There are so many great restaurants to choose from over 9 days and 2 weekends. (Please note that sales tax and gratuity are not included in the pre-fixe price).

Outer Banks Tastes & Tales and Ghost Tours of the Outer Banks have teamed up to present the 1st Annual HAUNTS AGAINST HUNGER
GHOST TOURS To Benefit Roanoke Island Food Pantry (A mission of Mount Olivet United Methodist Church, Manteo)
All ticket proceeds from walking Ghost Tours through haunted historic downtown Manteo October 19–25 will be donated to the Roanoke Island Food Pantry.
Event Tour Nights: Fri, Sat, Sun October 19, 20, 21 & Tues, Wed, Thurs October 23, 24, 25
Tour Time: 8:00-9:30 PM. Check in begins at 7:30 PM.
October 19, 20, 21 will also include the Not-So-Scary Spirits, Spooks & Specters tour offering a special 1-hour “just scary enough” ghost tour designed for younger children. Tour Time: 6:00-7:00 PM. Check-in beings at 5:30 PM.
Tickets: Ages 6-Adult are $15 per person plus a donation of one can of food/non-perishable food item at tour check-in. (children 5 and under are free)

Those who wish to donate without taking a ghost tour may drop food or cash donations at the Roanoke Island Food Pantry (Mount Olivet UMC) 300 Ananias Dare Street, Manteo.

Grab your snorkel and your tickets for “Trick or Treat Under the Sea” at the North Carolina Aquarium on Roanoke Island. Pirate skeletons, caped superheroes and fairy princesses once again haunt the wild attraction for two nights of ghoulish good times. The annual event creates a safe environment to enjoy Halloween fun. Games and magic shows will have the family shrieking with delight. Live animal encounters and spooky divers swimming among the sharks offer thrills and chills. From 6-8pm both nights.
OBX Entertainment presents the inaugural Outer Banks Halloween Arts and Crafts Expo on Wednesday, Oct. 24th at Secret Island Restaurant in Kill Devil Hills, part of HalloWeek 2018.
This event will feature handmade Halloween-themed local arts, crafts, and creepy curiosities for sale from a variety of artisan vendors.
Admission is free!
