Beaufort Wine and Food Weekend showcases great wineries and winemakers from around the world and pairs them with food prepared by local, regional and visiting chefs in a beautiful and intimate coastal setting along the Crystal Coast.
Since its inception in 2004, Beaufort Wine and Food has become one of Eastern NC’s premier culinary events, winning many accolades along the way including being named a Top 20 Event for April 2018 by the Southeast Tourism Society.
Beaufort Wine and Food is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that focuses local charities as recipients for the proceeds earned from its events. Through the generosity and support from sponsors, members and wine and culinary participants, Beaufort Wine and Food has donated over $670,000 to local non-profits.

April 25, 2018, Noon – 2 p.m.
The kick-off wine luncheon. A multi course wine luncheon features a guest and local chef paired with a winemaker. Casual attire suggested. BWF Private Label wines are served and available for sale during this event. General Tickets $50. BW&F Members: $45.

The first night of wine dinners will be held in private homes in Historic Beaufort and surrounding areas. A visiting chef will be paired with a local chef and a featured winemaker will guide you through a multi-course dinner – typically 4-6 courses. It’s a not to missed culinary experience! We ain’t talkin’ tacos people! Join us for a different kind of wine dinner! Leave your coat and tie at home and come enjoy a laid back wine experience, with top knotch culinary talent. A multi coursed, amazing dinner prepared by Clarke Merrell and Clark Barlowe and paired with Sebastiani wines and led by winemaker David Nakaji. Tickets $100; BWF members $90

LocationL Vision Art Gallery, Morehead City. Artist reception celebrates 2018 Featured artist: DOTTIE T. LEATHERWOOD. During this event, guests can mingle with the feature artist and enjoy wines from the Queen of Wines herself, Laure Levesque. On display in the gallery will be a full showing of Dottie’s work, including the 2018 signature painting, Russet Gold, donated to BWF by the artist. Tickets $20; $18 BWF members.

The Wine Dinners are held in local restaurants and private homes where a visiting chef will be paired with a local chef. A crowd favorite, this event features a variety of wines, paired with breads and cheeses as the audience is walked through the pairings by a featured wine maker, cheese monger and bread maker. The Grand Reserve Tasting and Auction pairs world-class libations and cuisine together at Front Street Village for a culinary experience like no other on the Crystal Coast. Mingle with celebrity guest chefs and winemakers for an unforgettable evening of dining, music and philanthropy. Beaufort Wine and Food’s largest single event! Guests are immersed in controlled chaos where 300 wine labels and dozens of local and regional restaurants come together in perfect harmony. April 28, 2018, 5:30 – 8 p.m.
Guests enjoy wine and food pairings in some of Beaufort’s most beautiful historic homes. At each stop, ticket holders will mingle with chef’s and winemakers in a relaxed atmosphere. Enjoy courses at four stops on the walkabout. Guests will meet at a specified start location and be divided into four groups 30. Transportation will be available to shuttle gusts from stop to stop. April 28, 2018, 7:30 – 10:30 p.m.
The Festival’s energy peaks during this concert. Guests and sponsors will mingle with guest chefs and wine/beverage representatives. Live music from The Holy Ghost Tent Revival will keep guests on their feet at Front Street Village. Guests sample wine, beer, and specialty spirits with food from participating restaurants serving up a variety of menu items. Casual attire suggested. General Tickets $65. BW&F Members: $58.50. April 29, 2018, Noon – 2 p.m.
Beaufort Wine and Food wraps up the weekend with a guest favorite, the Champagne Celebration Brunch at Front Street Village. Guests mingle with event personalities and reflect on a week filled with community and camaraderie in celebration of epicurean arts, all in the name of charity. Smooth jazz for your listening or dancing pleasure. Multi-course brunch paired with world famous Pol Roger Champagnes and various sparkling wines. Dressy casual attire suggested.
